I think this might be a gimmick. After one quick swipe I'm sure the mirror would just mist up again.
I suppose if you were to rub the mirror repeatedly and vigorously with it you could raise the surface temperature and stop it misting up again. Or maybe if you used it to apply a coating, like washing up liquid, to prevent the water droplets forming, then it might work, but otherwise I suspect this might just be in the category of Amazon tat.
