There is a sense of productivity and creativity that comes from shaping your ideas through writing. Conversely, there is a graceful convenience of the connectivity of cloud networks and cross-platform sharing that enables your ideas to travel wherever you go.
Pulling from these seemingly polar concepts is a brilliant collaboration project. Released in October, the Moleskine Smart-Notebook for Evernote is a stunning exemplar of design that blurs the line between physical and virtual spaces. This notebook allows users to save their written notes to Evernote using Evernote's in-app page camera that aligns with on-page patterns of dots.
The genius component of this design is searchable smart stickers. Much like the colored flags in Gmail, different smart stickers can be utilized to tag different notes for searching in Evernote. Simply put a tag sticker by the corresponding page content and take a page photo with an iPad or iPhone, and the material will become searchable by the tag.
This notebook is available in 2 sizes (3.5 x 5.5 inches and 5 x 8.25 inches) with either ruled or squared pages.
