Defibrillator Toaster

with 7 comments
Add some fun (or perhaps drama) to your morning routine with this defibrillator toaster by Shay Carmon. It's pretty simple- place your toast in the tray, select your toasting level, and apply some pressure. Clear! Unfortunately, this is only a concept design for the time being. Fingers crossed that, sometime in the future, we'll be able to shock our toast to life to our heart's content.

It needs a more interesting operating switch, maybe a rotary knob with "joule" settings on it, kind of a mix between the Zoll and LifePak controls. Maybe the paddles could lock into place to ensure even toasting? Ooh, and a tone like on the Zoll M series to indicate when the griddles are warmed up and ready to 'shock'? Just a few ideas :)
