Students from University of Karlsruhe, Germany, Christian Zwick and Konstantin Jerabek have designed this unique experimental revolving house called Roll It, based on the concept of “mobile and space-efficient construction”. The design offers flexible housing in a minimum space. The cylindrical house features a very unique interior setting which changes its functions depending on the orientation. The workspace in one position becomes bedroom when rolled 180 degrees and the kitchen becomes bathroom. The center of the structure can be used both for sports activities as well as for lighting control.
Structurally, the prototype includes an outer shell with the four support rings over a rigid inner shell. A translucent membrane envelops the entire form and serves as advertising space for sponsors. Thin wooden slats are attached to the membrane to form the running surface of the roll. The inner cover is a series of laminated OSB panels, each 15 mm thick, that cover the support rings. Circular openings in the side walls allow light into the structure, and a large opening serves as the entrance.

Nothing impossible....
How will i take a dump then?
Sucks if you live on a hill.....
Nice idea for developing regions, but what would it cost? It would have to be done cheaply enough for mass production or it wouldn't be worth doing.
humm.. so only the interior rotate?
Do the windows in the middle open and close? can you cover them for privacy.. I wonder what the window is made of glass or plexiglass? Are they durable?
Going back on the dump Idea, beware if you wanna take a dump before you go to bed. *dump...ROLL * Splach yeah xD
What about heat and ac, does the door close ?
