Wake up! ZAP! Good morning. The singNshock alarm clock looks and behaves like any other alarm clock. It plays the radio or music to wake you up. But if that’s not enough for sleepy-heads, the clock can also be programmed to deliver an electrical pulse. The shock is transferred through the button that turns off the alarm. So if you’re thinking about turning off your alarm, rolling over and going back to sleep, think again. Just a few millivots are delivered and so you shouldn’t experience any body altering experiences, says designer Sankalp Sinha. And for those mornings when the radio is more than enough to stir you from sleep, the shock can be turned off.
