Table lamp Tunto LED 8 is a miracle of modern technology. It has been developed by Finnish lighting manufacturer Tunto along with Finnish company PowerKiss, which is specialized in the production of wire-free charging stations, that can be easily integrated in furniture or a wide-range of surfaces and has already been applied in cafes, restaurants, airports or corporate lobbies.
With Tunto LED 8 the PowerKiss technology is invisibly hidden inside the lamp base. The structure of the luminaire consists of an ultrathin wood board which is bent twice, dividing the lamp in three parts: the base, the body and the lamp head. On the inner side of the latter there are 9 ultrathin-mounted LED lamps. On the lower side of the body there are three touch-sensitive sensors by which the light can be switched on and off or adjusted in light intensity. The base contains the PowerKiss charging technology, which is integrated invisibly under the wooden surface of the lamp. The highly modern light miracle has an unmistakable minimalistic aspect.
